what colour would you paint your RSR?

ive convinced myself that my 1969 911L needs to be RSR'rd but what colour should i paint it?? any pics would be great for inspiration. also, can anyone tell me where to go for the arches/front-rear bumpers? are they the only BIG mods to the bodywork other than the wheels or am i missing something

Cheers,

Andy

Andy, are you more comfotable with conservative or bold colors? I love the look of Gran Prix White, but if I bought / built an RS clone, I've pretty much convinced myself to paint it the same Aubergine as our 73E. I really like that color. Good luck with your selection!

Any RS or RSR clone for me would have to be white/blue graphics.

Any other 911 would HAVE to be GREEN, GREEN, GREEN!

Geez Curt, that car looks incredible! All that stands between me and owning a car like that is a gob of money.

An RS/RSR clone would have to be white with RED graphics for me. The weels would be Fuchs with anodized lips with RED centers.

I'm building an RSR clone as well and have had a hard time deciding on color. I think I've decided to go with silver with the black Porsche script down the side like Jack has on BB11. I think it will go nicely with my red interior.

Go to this link and you will see every combination of colors. It has over 500 images of RS and RSR cars.

His post says 1969, but it also says L so it confused me a little too. He's in the UK, so maybe they got an L model in '69 with the long wheelbase?

RS or RSR color !!!

I have a RS Replica white grand prix with black graphics because all my trim and window frame was black, now i switch to chrome
and maybe i will change my graphics to red !!!
but any way all the original color in nice on a RS or RSR !
i will think about it this winter !!!

I'm with the GP White crowd...This RSR replica was sold before I finished it, but it was on the way to being a brother to the RS replica...
