It is for an oil cooler in the front I would think to allow air flow thru ...
am I right or am I right ?

Ted.. I waas trying last night.. but how the He** do you remove the heater blower from under the front.. it seems to be bolted in somehow, but I can't find anything to loosen..
any ideas??
I love the clean look on the trunk ya have there..

Glad you guys approve, a fuel cell would be nice too.

A 24x4 oil cooler is mounted inside the visible plenum.
The plenum then exits via the duct into the driver’s inner fender.
This should help to maintain the low-pressure area under the front of the car when compared to the more common method of diverting the oil cooler wash directly down.

Eric it’s been so long since I removed that piece I can’t recall where the fasteners were, sorry.

Are you talking about the fresh air blower? Take the air intake vent in front of the windshield off. there are a couple of screws under it.
