dash nobs - dumb question

Sorry for even wasting the space for this one - Can someone tell me which nobs are suppose to light up and how to get to and replace the bulbs? I'm talking about the driving light switch, foglight switch, defroster (the only one that lights now) and anything else I'm forgetting.

Also, I read in the manual that pulling out the defroster nob keeps the WINDSHIELD from fogging, while "clicking" it clockwise works on the back window - is that right?

Very few 911s had the front window electric defog option.

For disassembly, the whole knob can unscrew, and you can pop the center section (pictgram) out of the rubber surround, to get to the bulb; if I'm remembering right.

On my 85... the defog switch turns/pulls for two levels of heat for the rear defroster...

Pulling out the defogger/defroster knob sets the power level for defogging, while "clicking" it clockwise sets the power level for defrosting. Either way, it is acting on the rear window and side mirrors. (and front window if optioned so. -rare)

How would one find out what options this 20 year old car came with?
