Finally, pic of the 930

Just thought I would post a pic of my car. Most of my research on this car was done on Pelican's BBS. You guys have answered some good questions. I'm enjoying the heck out of the car.
Steve

That's a beautiful car. Congratulations. Is it meteor grey metallic in color with a black interior? Very nice.

So...any mods yet? :)

Hope to see you at a local club event soon.

Thanks for the complements. I've joined the PCA. That picture was taken at the Fallbrook, Hot Summer Nights back in August. It's in a line up of about 15-20 other PCA cars. There's a pretty good shot of the line up in Windblown Witness(November). Only thing I've done to the car is put a test pipe on it. Boy, did it get loud. It's not a daily driver. The test pipe sound fits right in. It's just a "have a lot of fun car." I got the HP bug about a month after I got it. Looked into some mods (springs, intercoolers, heater boxes). I think I'll keep it stock until it needs some internal work. It's 48k on the mileage and the interior is black. I'll take some more pics and download them. I wasn't looking for a gray market, this was the nicest one I found. Awesome.

I love the look of your car. I've owned my SC for almost ten years and love it, but my next will definately be a 930!

Congradulations.

Do you have any mods planned?

How old does a car have to be in cali before you don't have to worry about emissions?

aschen 12-06-2003 03:10 PM

I might be biased, but methinks there is no beter looking car than a 930. Enjoy!

Here's a couple more. I had the plates off until I got the personalized ones (FLT PLAN). I just couldn't resist. How is that K27 turbo? More boost or just faster spool? Is it the same size and lighter or just lighter.
I think the name of the color is Meteor Grey. Just put Potenza S-o3's on and 4 wheel alignment. New brake lines and advanced the timing a couple of degrees. New hood crest (after these pics) and new fog light covers. This car is all original. I drive it when I'm in the mood.

Steve,
My wife and I lived in Fallbrook while i was stationed at Camp Pendleton ('82 through '91). We saw alot of Porsches while we were out there. Murietta/Temecula/Fallbrook ares are beautiful and are some of our favorite places in the US. Now we're stucK in SE Michigan!!! The car is in the garage for the winter and I'm going through withdrawal. Nice looking 930!!!!
