I am currently working on boosting (supercharging) a 3.0L. The 911, in it's current configuration, has power assisted braking which runs off of vaccum. How did Porsche run brake assist on boosted engines, ex. 930's?
thanks!! |

All cars (NA and Boosted) only have vacuum during partial throttle so nothing changes.
The check valve on the booster allows the chamber to evacuate during moments of low manifold pressure for those moments when brakes might be needed under boost though most cars should be off the throttle and providing vacuum when braking is needed. |

The check valve for the 930 brakes is an in-line item. You could easily use it on your boosted SC. I use one on mine. Works perfectly.
