I just purchased a popoff valve from Pelican and installed it in my 83SC. The directions were clear and simple to follow. Total time was about 30 minutes.
As a side note, I purchased a right angle adapter for my drill from Harbor Freight for about $10. With this attached, the job was pretty easy.

Way to go Dave. I assume you did the install with the air box in the car?

Good stuff. Wish I did that before my airbox blew

I did install the popoff valve with the airbox in the car. It went well. I took your advice and headed out to Harbor Freight today. Thanks again Sam, David

I just did mine last month. I hate to read the directions, set the arbor too deep & almost drilled a hole in my WUR chamber, I still need to apply some epoxy to each side of the hinge pin to keep it from sliding out. I'm not sure if any of that was in the instructions, but perhaps I should start to read them. Naw.
