Air cleaners for 40 IDA webers
Where the best place to get air cleaners for my 40 IDA webers. I have found K&ns and ITGs. Does anyone have experience with either of these and know where I can find the best value.

I have the ITG's, which I purchased from Pegasus.
They flow incredibly well and are reported to filter much better than K&N's. (They are oil-impregnated high-density foam vs. gauze). However, it should be noted that they are (a) LOUD and (b) have no provision for liquid-intrusion protection ala watershields. So they are for dry-weather use only. ![]()

I really like the ITG's, but I need wet-weather capability. These are the K&N Watershields. I have fabric 'Pre-Charger' wraps (you can just see the yellow wraps) over the filters that bring the filtration down to 5 microns. -- Curt
