Rennsport Display Cases

I saw these display cases at the Rennsport Reunion last year but have misplaced the contact info. Anybody have a contact for the maker of these? Thanks. -- Curt

When I saw those cases at the event I couldn't help but thinking about how great they'd look in my study. Then I saw the price and realized I wouldn't have one for a long long time. Sorry, but I don't have any vendor info but seem to remember them being in the $750 to $1,000 range.

Curt, I think that the guy must be fairly local to Lime Rock, I see him & the cases every time I go.

If you can hold out till spring I'll get a card from him.

Try here:http://www.clearvuedisplays.com/gas_station_pumps.htm
I used the search, 'Shell gas pump display case.' There are some other sites that don't seem too expensive. As it was suggested before, a blank was purchased and the Porsche was custom added. When in Rome.....
The next show the guy probably had Piper Cub on the same case.

Thanks Milt! I'm pretty sure the ones at Rennsport were in the $800-$1000 range and I seem to recall talking to the guy and he indicated he made them himself. Could be mistaken though.

Curt, I think the company that you're looking for is Showcases Unlimited. They are in E. Haddam, CT and the phone # is 860 873 2243.
They also have a website... showcasesunlimited.com

I saw their ad in Forza magazine and they appear to be the same displays that I saw at Lime Rock.

Disclaimer: Although it is true that I was looking through Forza, I would like to state for the record that I did not inhale.
