ERP Suspension
Can anybody give me a little more information about the ERP Company. I hear alot about them and the 935 suspension they produce but I can not find them on the web or not even what ERP stands for. I'd like to know a little more about the company before I go out and spend $3,000.00 on a suspension setup.
Thanks adiaz@diazracing.com

It's Cary Eisenlohr's company, Eisenlohr Racing Products. Smart Racing and other vendors sell his products and consult with him. His reputation is great, and his products are pretty much the best of their kind.
Keep in mind, an ERP front end, for example, will kill you on classification in some Porsche racing groups. But keep your eyes open, and you'll see ERP stickers on a lot of the top racing Porsches. I've also met Cary, and he's a straight-up guy. He even drove to meet me half way when I needed a particular part in a hurry. He's the guru to a lot of west coast suspension experts.

Thanks for the info Jack. I think before I pick out which parts I'm going to use, I need to pick a class. Any suggestions for a first time racer?

Are you building a track car? What group are you thinking about running with?

I still have to look at the different classes. I intend to keep it "streetable" at least until I get enough track time. Then I plan on turning it full track. It's an 85 Carrera. The only mondifications are removal of AC, Heater, instalation of headers and super-flow muffler and 930 calipers. Being that the engine and trani are tired(125000+; speedo broke) I would like to practice with it like this (maybe do some suspension mod), but when I rebuild I would like to make some major upgrades:
Twin plugs Webers Full headers(no muff). I need some more ideas for engine modifications. Maybe displacement increase???
