need help w/driver's side door
This is a pic of my driver's side door.
I noticed when I open it, it swings all the way to 90 degrees with no friction or stop points. I went to investigate and came across this. Anyone have any guesses as to what's going on here? Would like to get everyone's input as to what happened, and how to fix this correctly. ![]()

Looks like you need a door stop and door stop repair kit. It basically puts a plate inside of door to receive new door stop. Yours looks pretty torn up, and previously repaired with washers, etc. Parts are available from host. You will need to pull the door card to get at the inside repair. While in there lube and tighten other things you see.
Good luck.Dave

+1 check inside, most likely the rubber stop inside is a goner too.
