Yeah, about an hour and a half seems to be a good estimate in a Porsche. I went from San Diego - Pacific Beach - in an hour 45 when I was driving my friend's brand new G-35 at 11:00 at night - average speed was close to 100.
You should make the trip, it would be worth the time spent. |

Hey, I can rent a Boxter for $300. But you guys wouldn't talk to me if I did would you?
seriously, the Snowflake Rally is the 25th so I can't do it anyway. Is the footage in Randy Newman's "I love LA" video of Mulholland? The bit where the Caddy peeks out from behind the 308?? |

 Is this still happening?
	 |

Yes. 9 am at the Gelson's.
We all bring a Porsche and a full tank of gas. Then we try and keep up with Tyson. ;) |

I will be out of town that weekend on business, and believe me, I almost said that I wouldn't go. Hard to explain the importance of a Pelican gathering to this employer, though. :)
	 |

And a 1/2 tank more than handled the TRE run for me.
	 |

Unless I'm in Santa Barbara, I'll be there!
	 |

 Sorry!!!

Can't make it....will be doing a TT at streets both Sat & Sun....and then Monday the 26th, will be over at Big Willow for the day:D
	:D |

Hey John, wus up! Coming out on the 21st by chance?
	 |

 All the best...!!!

		To ya Ryan,
I have to admit I am part of the "lurking" fanclub of your 3.6 transplant...... whoa....!!!!! I be backin' off in a big way when you come a cruzin' thru the lineup.... ;) That day iz gonna happen soon 'nuff for me....http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gif http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gif http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gif call it 3.2L RESPECT!!!!! :) :) Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the OTR event on the 21st...I've pretty much committed to the PCA Zone 8 Time Trial circuit in '04...which leaves me penniless... :D Have a little extra fun for me, O.k.??? Cheers!!! |

You bet John! Good to hear from you and I hope to see you and your lovely assistant soon. ;)
Have fun w/ the TT circuit, i think I need to head that way soon. |

CHILI, you're good at getting lost. Start at the Reel Inn and go up the road. They'll come blowin' by somewhere along the way! :D
Seriously, Gelsons Market is off the 101 at Mullholland and is where they start from. They eat at the RI after (which is probably a good idea). |

Chilli - Gelson's is on Mulholland. To get there, take the 101 N., get off on Topanga. Take Topanga west to Mulholland ('bout 3 miles). At Mulholland, make a right, go around the bend to a shopping center-like place, and Gelsons is in there on the northwest corner. We park closest to the street so we can make our quick getaway. SmileWavy

We've never eaten at the Reel Inn after one of these runs. We're fixated on Coogies now. Good big pancakes with lots of syrup, butter and niacin pellets after you finish eating.
	 |

dd, shouldn't your status line read 'Quack-land'?

Right, I meant location. I mean, you do work at Quack-land, right?
	 |

 I don't follow you, Zeke...
	 |

Is the run still on?? I just got word of it and would be interested. I did the TRE run - same route just starting at Gelsons??
	 |

Still on. And yes, it's mostly the same run we did on New Year's.
	 |

I just might bring the "Ragamuffin' out for this, rust and all. I'll run at the back so no one has to run over any parts that may fall off. :D
	 |

So it's confirmed that the Porsche will be no-go.
Looks like I'm bringing the BMW. The old man might be coming along as well. He wanted to see what all this was about. |

Jared, What is up with the 914? Tires? See you there. I am bringing my 914. Mark
	 |

Tires, expired tags, this that and the other expensive thing.
	 |

The weather is looking good for Saturday - I have a friend that is interesting in coming and I have been trying to get him more into Porsches - but currently he drives this (see below) - he has fully restored it and would like to bring it along - the color will blend perfectly. Any objections to this??http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1074663166.jpg

 Looks just like my 308!
	-Wayne |

 7-10 foot waves....
or 1-2 hours of driving $hity and trying to keep up... hmmm... |

Wish I could make this one. I am in NYC today. Was -14C last night. Fly back to LaLaLand today, but have to fly to Cabo San Lucas tomorrow (Saturday). Was 84F there yesterday......

(I just got back from Boston myself. Was <30° the whole time.) I'll see y'all tomorrow morning if I can possibly make it. Our nanny is heading for Vegas tonight (?) so I may be on daddy-duty. |

I won't be able to make it after all :(
Installing new carpet, so the car's a bare tub inside at the moment. Wanna finnish before Dunkel, though. BTW, has anyone ever tried driving with now seats, but instead sitting on their tool box? It ain't easy! Ask me how I know. Just pulling into the garage from the driveway, of course. No street driving. |

 I should be there tomorrow.
See you then! SmileWavy Jason |

I don't think I can make this one either :(
But will be at Dunkles and the Lit show :) |

  |

 Very nice on Saturday night!
I need to work tomorrow morning so I'll have to try for the next one. WSIR made it worth it though. Have fun and be careful out there! |

Wont be making this one either. To many things to do around the house. Man this remodel is killing me.
	 |

I can't make it. Doing construction around the house. :(
	 |

I'm in! Looking forward to meeting some of you Pelicanheads!
	 |

Cannot make it, no seats in car and a long honey-do list.....
Drive safe you guys and have a great time! -b |
