Driver's side oil cooler -

Has anyone mounted a fender aux oil cooler on the driver's side of their 930 (or 911 for that matter)? Other than removing the washer fluid reservoir are there any unique issues? Also, how is that location for additional cooling effectiveness? Are there any prefered brands or kits for this project?

Gotta admit; Dr Ryan's setup is a lot cleaner than mine was!

True. Ryan's is the gold standard of dual oil cooler setups.

Which brings this up as I re-read Ryan's post.

Bruce Anderson mentions the enormous efficiency improvement if the cooler is on the pressure circuit side ( vs the scavange side that ALL of us still cling to)...even saying that small, helicopter oil cooler units work much better than our combo of engine moutn cooler, supplemented by one ( two ?) fender mount coolers.

So...anyone do just a pressure side unit and forget about all this body fab / rework / new spoiler / relocate washer bottle....business ??

Those both look really well done. I wonder if I can fit a small cooler in there by just removing the washer reservoir. I am assuming my 930 has a similiar fuel fume tank as Ryan's does (I seem to remember two plastic containers in there).
