Yes, that is Rob's car (of Catherine Wheel fame). Very nice guy, and the car is beautiful. The flares were actually going *in* at the bottom, to give a cleaner line. Rob had a photo, then a photoshop version of what he was looking for, along with photos of some stunning early cars. His has a 3.0 w/SSIs and Webers...great exhaust tone.

it makes perfect sense the car is owned by a "creative type". it is a great looking car. adding it to my top ten list of favorites.

What's the red thing on the bottom of the passenger side shock? A tow eye?

close..
I have a pair of those on my track car, makes for a very easy and secure tiedown to the trailer. Now the front of the car is another story, for some reason I've only seen one version of these from Weltmeister that mounts to the front A arms on an early car, but boy are they pricey compared to these rear type tiedowns.

Yes, Rob checks in on Pelican's 911BBS fom time to time.
He also had Joe cut a hole in the hood for a center fill gas tank. We'll post pictures when it's done. It'll be absolutely gorgeous !!! I'll try to talk Rob into creating a username, and actually contributing to the board in the future.

So Tyson, what kinda money are we talking about to do this kinda work. What about some carrera flares on a narrow body '74? Could you use an indentured servant in the shop to work off the bill?

You could call or e-mail Dave Bouzaglou (TRE owner) and he could give you a price. www.tremotorsports.com
