915 transmission swap
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CHANGES I'LL HAVE TO MAKE TO PUT A 1983 915 TRANSMISSION IN MY 1984 CARRERA.

You just need to grind or cut away a notch for the speed and reference sensors. You can also make a smaller notch for the TDC indicator if you want or just unbolt the sensor - it isn't connected to anything anyway.

I thought you were looking at rebuilding your transmission? Might be a lot easier in the long run.  Randy
