Ooops, I didn't realize you had so many '69s (right on, heh heh). I was curious about the setup on the white one with the carrera script and ducktail.

Thanks!

Andy that one has a lower performance , mildly built up 2.7 running only .5 bar of boost with no intercooler. Max power is likely around 260 at the wheels. But very fast with the type 901/07 S tranny and only 2350 lbs .

Thanks, Curt. Sounds like fun! What crankcase are you using and what compression ratio did you use? JE pistons? what exhaust, turbo and fuel system?

Thanks, sorry I ask so many questions!

The white R/S replica`s engine is nothing special .The crankcase is a 1974 7R magnesium casting . Compression is stock 911s (8.5 to 1 ) using mahle pistons. Raceware head studs with case savers.
1977 heads with the better OE valve guides .
Stock 77` 911s CIS cams .
No internal goodies or special machining .
Exhaust consists of 3-1 SSI stainless exchangers into a custom turbo manifold which has a t-4 flange to support the garret T-4 turbocharger. After the turbo is a saxaphone shaped custom 3" fabrication using no baffling at all. All mandrel bends with a polished 3" stainless tip coming out in the stock location.
Fuel system is all stock with no additional enrichment mods. The CIS system amazingly has what it takes to supply the extra needed fuel at 7-8 psi boost .
Boost comes on at about 2500 rpm in first gear which is almost instant with the low 7/31 gearing of the 901 tranny.
You can see others with this type of setup in a post called turbo SC . My car is there with a few pictures and further description.
