Hi from Ozy newby

I am new to this forum but have been reading each post with a lot of interest. I have some photos of my SC if anyone is interested. I think I have worked out how to attach them. She is Australian delivered '79 ROW with 100 000 km on the clock. Hope you like it.

Nice wheels. I am almost color-blind today.....what is the official name of the color?

I can only agree with the others, that's a nice looking car and a great color. Do you know the "official" name for that color?

Excellent example of what appears to be a stock '79 SC. I noticed that you don't have foglights, is that stock for an Aussie 911? It looks like your headlights were also upgraded to H4's; good decision. Like the rest, I must say that color is very different and looks great.

Stunning. The Australian contingent is building. And a beautiful neighborhood to boot. Summertime down under, hot, cloudy and humid?

welcome to the board, very nice looking car, I noticed that there are no front side reflectors is this the way the car came or did someone modify it.

The colour or color as you guys spell it is "Light Green Metalic" which I thought Porsche would have put more effort in than that name. When I first bought it I was unsure about the colour but now I wouldn't change it for the world. And to answer Scotts question about the headlights they are the originals from new as were the reflectors. The '78/'79 ROW models didn' have them. Thanks for the great feedback.

You need to get on board with the SCWDP ASAP. Afterwards you will be given the 411 and the DL from HQSCWDP. From there on you will be assigned your own AOR in which we (HQSCWDP) expect to see quarterly and semi-quarterly SITREPs filed on a standard 51-21 Q form.
I will need all your important information: Aussi-social, DOB, TTISC (Total-time-in SC) date, so on and so forth. Before taking any covert/overt/neither covert/overt action against Carrera strongholds you must first contact a regional helpdesk and get two authenticators. One will verify your status as an agent of the SCWDP and the second will help us keep track of whether or not you all are eating healthy meals. After you recieve and verify your authenticator numbers, you will be required to submit a safety report and operations plan to HQSCWDP/OPD within 17 hours of your initial notification. After final approval from the legal division and the SCWDP/OPD/RDTAPE you are free to conduct your desired operation against the Carrera Threat.
Other than that, Doug will contact you with information on the secret handshake, Glenn will ship your first order of complimentary towels...

Stand tall, you are an SC owner. Many look up to us.

Welcome aboard.

Todd,

Welcome - always good to see more aussies on the board. Great looking ride.

Sam - as i understand it all of the aust delivery cars came without the reflectors (added for US market). I could be wrong though.

Ash
