patient update??? That was quicker than it takes most shops to do daily drivers! My Honda was gone for 33 days and it was nothin' compared to this.

Looks very nice. Silver looks so good! You're keeping it the same color, right? Full re-paint, or just the pieces?

You know, while I was at TRE a couple days ago, I dashed some holy water on your car. Hope you don't mind.

It's not a 996, silly rabbit. Couldn't you have annointed it with blessed oil? Now I'm gonna have to do the dead chicken thing again...

All I had was baby oil with me; it wasn't the annoiting type.

What's getting painted? Just the valence, or was other bodywork damaged?

I thought silver was the hardest color to see during dusk and dawn.

Ok, I'm so stupid! I just realized you meant patient as in Medical Patient. Duh!

valence, rocker, and...umm....some other part are getting painted. Nothing else needs it. Well, the doors have some fogging clearcoat, but I'm not going to worry about that.

O.K., she runs! And the Elephant Racing finned lines and Carrera cooler are installed and bled. It's being loaded on the flatbed as I type, on it's way to Automotive Innovations for the paintwork.

Then likely on Monday back to us for the final mechanical tidbits.

We're ahead of schedule!

Its starting to look better than new! Di d you make a decision about going to wider wheels? I just fitted 1" spacers at the rear & 1/4" at the front of my SC (w/ 6&7x16). It looks worlds better.
