Headers on a 2.7

Goodmorning
My question is, I have a '77 2.7l S with no themo reactors, pre 74 muffler, would it be a good idea take the heat exchangers off, and replace them with headers?
Thanks Daniel

Go with SSI's, if you want to keep your heat for those cold days.
That's what I did and I could feel a noticeable increase in power.
