More on the chips...we have them in OUR cars....
OK....the 9elevenmotors 3.6 dual chip has been in both of our cars now for over a month. WE have tested them out and we have not blown anything up yet.
![]() We have also done a 3.2 chip as well. Still working on the 993 chip....hope to have that out soon. We will be contacting the volunteers that have step forward to see if they like our product as much as we do.....stay tuned. A Mikey and Ingo Production...... ![]()

Are you running one on a 964 3.6?

Yup....it's a dual chip....patent pending
![]() Consists of a stock chip and our chip in one.....turn the motor off, flip a switch and you are changed back. We can adjust rev limits and do special tweeks per customer requests. The good part is that some states have smog restrictions that will disallow performance enhancements like these chips....with ours, a flip of the switch and you are back to stock configuration.

Your kidding about the patent pending right? The factory already implements this idea (multiple maps, switched externally) and FR Wilke has done the switch idea on his 944 DME's.

Yes he is.
What the factory did was to have multiple maps in one chip with slight differences in part throttle timing. Fr. Wilke did exactly what we did for the 944. He went even way further and reverse-engineered the entire motronic computer complete with schematics. Hell of a job. On the 964 motronic a checksum tells it if the software (or the maps) are modified. If so it throws up a fault code (replace DME). I like this because I can tell when I am running the modified chip or the stock chip just by the check engine light. So I did not bother trying to match the checksum for the new chip. It's a feature for me.

Ingo, what does it mean if the light stays on? How does it get shut off when you need to pass smog?

Can you get me one that puts a Euro '93 3.6 with headers and no cat at the smog level for a 78 on one side, and the other at the performance level w/ compensation for a LFW?

Amir is right. When you run the stock setting the light won't come on. That's the setting you want to use to pass smog.
Paul, I belive the stock chip will allow you to pass smog since the emissions of your 93 engine even without cat should be lower than the emissions of the 78. When you switch over to the performance setting it would take care of the LFW and give you an additional 18 HP. Cheers, Ingo
