I haven't had to log in since I first subscribed to this site. I have had to log in twice in a row now. Am I all alone in the world? Well, I know I am but I mean is anyone else having this problem?

Login uses a browser cookie. Did you run disk cleanup, or change your browser's security settings recently? Install a firewall like Zonealarm?

Mike,
Do you have the site saved as a "favorite" like most do? If so, re-save as a "favorite" after logging in. This cured the problem for me - something to do with cookies.

Pelican, like all BBSs & sites that you password into use cookies that they install on your machine holding your info. When you go to the site the cookie invisibly logs you in. You obviously cleared your cookies somehow.

Note: Cookies are also used to track your netting by advertisers & who-knows??? Many sites will install cookies - good & bad. Maybe even 'Big Brother' keeps tabs . . .

I clear my cookies daily & just log in to sites. Got to reduce the junk mail somehow . . .

Ian

John,
I think the forum should have a mechanism to send you a reminder with your password in it or a way for you to reset it if you've forgot it.

If not, I'm sure Wayne would be willing to someone like yourself reset it.

John, you already have 11 screen names that refer to your shop and one that says just 'John Walker.' Of all those, you have used 3 to post.

Do an advanced search under members to see all the variations. Each one has a password, I presume. You might run out of passwords.

I don't know what happened. I don't clean anything but my car. I'm waiting for this machine to just explode with all the useles junk it has in it. And my house too.

John, remember your password is case sensitive. You should be able to log into your account from multiple machines.
