wear limit.
what about an escape route for dust from the disk (too)?

i have the flywheel off on my BMW right now. no grooves, but had some hot spots. i just block sanded them away. hope to have it back in this week.

Ty,

The price for turning and balancing the flywheel (911) has gone a bit from previous years. I had mine done for $80 and felt that's a little bit too pricey but was glad I've done it before putting it back. I had one flywheel (4Runner) that looked good (no grooves) but had several dark spots. It was warped and needed replacement. Have it checked while you have it out and does not cost much to have it inspected.

Tony
