Fuel pumprelay and black relays?
Are there any differences besides colors with these round relays?

Yes, the red ones have an internal diode that prevents power surging back through the circuit. Look here for details:
The Special Red Relay...what's it protecting?

So can I use the black one in place of the red one or am I asking for problems?

I was told by a reputable source that switching to the black one is o.k. in a pinch (and also that many people have run the black relay for a long time without incident). I had a fuel pump relay in my 930 die on me so I ran black ones for a few days until new red ones arrived from Pelican. For $25 it is hardly worth it to risk running the black ones there long term.
