How to tell if a 7R case.
This is a stupid question but....
How can you tell if a case is a 7R? Will the serial number have a 7R in the number? What years did they produce this case? And why is it more desired? Thanks Rick

This casting number is on the side of the case. The 7r casting is the last magnesium case and has been strengthened in several areas.
