I'm thinking of applying a set of the retro-cool Porsche script and stripes on the side of my 75 S and was wondering how they'd look with the stock rocker set-up. Anyone running a set on an impact-bumper 911?
Here's the stripe I'm talking about (to the owner of the car, sorry about stealing the pic but your car is gorgeous!) ![]() ![]()

Hey exc911ence. I've been thinking the same thing w/ my SC. i haven't seen this script on an impact bumper car yet, but it could look good. The only thing I'm worried about is where the script would be placed- Porsche fixed the Carrera script higher for the impact bumper cars (aligning w/ the bumper stripe?) so I guess you would do the same with this script. I'll let you know if I go ahead w/ it.
...hold on. would this qualify me for gruppeB ![]() |

I honestly have no idea where it came from. When I bought the car they were in a box of "extra" stuff the PO gave me. I liked em, so I put them on.
Here are a couple other pics ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I like them! They definitely look 'period' (mid '70s). Does anyone know if the factory produced this style?

Anybody have a problem with there decal pulling up on the narrow edges when they wash there car with a hand mit? Also fibers from the wash mit stick.
My paint shop put the decal on wet and I wonder if that was a problem ![]() ![]()

The red 911 with the black side script is the IROC style decal. GT-Racing has them.

I'm doing the same on my 79 but, just going to have the script a few shades darker than actual paint color so it sort of shadows.
