Porsche Crest Need pics of 74-up 911 with PORSCHE side stripes!

I'm thinking of applying a set of the retro-cool Porsche script and stripes on the side of my 75 S and was wondering how they'd look with the stock rocker set-up. Anyone running a set on an impact-bumper 911?

Here's the stripe I'm talking about (to the owner of the car, sorry about stealing the pic but your car is gorgeous!)

Hey exc911ence. I've been thinking the same thing w/ my SC. i haven't seen this script on an impact bumper car yet, but it could look good. The only thing I'm worried about is where the script would be placed- Porsche fixed the Carrera script higher for the impact bumper cars (aligning w/ the bumper stripe?) so I guess you would do the same with this script. I'll let you know if I go ahead w/ it.

...hold on. would this qualify me for gruppeB

Is that a factory stripe? Love to see more pics of it!

I honestly have no idea where it came from. When I bought the car they were in a box of "extra" stuff the PO gave me. I liked em, so I put them on.

Here are a couple other pics

I like them! They definitely look 'period' (mid '70s). Does anyone know if the factory produced this style?

Anybody have a problem with there decal pulling up on the narrow edges when they wash there car with a hand mit? Also fibers from the wash mit stick.

My paint shop put the decal on wet and I wonder if that was a problem

The red 911 with the black side script is the IROC style decal. GT-Racing has them.

I'm doing the same on my 79 but, just going to have the script a few shades darker than actual paint color so it sort of shadows.
