Aftermarket seat testing
OK, I've identified the cause of my back pain. It's the d@mn seats in my SC!!! Near as I can tell they're the original Recaros, though re-covered.
I'd like to invest in some new seats, but how the heck do I try out these things without paying an arm and a leg in shipping? I certainly don't want to buy a seat and find that it doesn't fix any problems. Does anyone in the PHX area have an aftermarket seat they're willing to let me sit in (no driving necessary)?

Contact the manufacturers to find a local distributor that has display models. When I talked to the guy at Corbeau, he recommended a local store (40 miles away) that had the seats I was interested in, on display. You may try to contact Recaro, Sparco, or a few others to see what is available.
