Anyone using a lightweight flywheel with thier 3.2. I'm putting a 3.2 in my SC later this month and a Light fly wheel is something my mechanic thinks I should consider. (Basically if your going to do it then now is the time.) The set up will be chipped w/SSIs to start. This is a little different from the 3.6 I was planning, but I'll give all the details in a later thread.
Anyway for a car 80% street 20% track is it a worthwhile upgrade. Would I expect stalling problems. How much more difficult starting from a dead stop. It sounds from some previous threads that for me it may be over the top.

Instead of using a lightweight flywheel, have you considered a lightweight pressure plate? Personally, if my flywheel was fine I would spend the money on something else.

I did the lightweight pressure plate. Great addition, noticable acceleration response, cheaper. Some argue a lightweight flywheel causes some funky 1st gear starts and stuttering in slow (crawling) speeds due to the lack of centrifugal force from the heavy flywheel. Who knows...
