Seat sliders
As I ponder my next moves on the FK seat issue...I will probably use Porsche sliders. My current car is a 85 Carrera, and I would like to use Porsche sliders, as they will work best on my dual-purpose car ( with inboard seat belt receptacle tab) . I don't want to use the sliders from my original seats as they are power ( up/down) and once you grind off the middle vertical piece ( related to the motorized height feature), I'll never be able to re-use them on the stock seats.
Anyone here have a reasonably-priced pair, or can give advice as to which dismantlers to contact? --Wil Ferch ![]() |

Wil,
When i needed sliders, I got them from Parts Heaven. I think they were around $50 for the pair. You might want to try DC Automotive as they are in your area and you may be able to save shipping.

You might also want to try Gary at Parts Obsolete.
