				 |  CV Axle compatability 
			Can I replace the  CV axles on my 1977 2.7 Litre 911S with those from my 1974 2.7 Litre 911. I would hate to buy a re-built unit only to find that I had a compatible spare. This is for a weekend fun cruiser, not a racer. If you read this post Colin, I did your test and it wasn't the bearing. (No rumbling in reverse). | ||

			The ones from my '74 interchange with my '75.  My best guess is to hold them up next to each other and take a look at the situation.   Good luck, David Duffield | ||

			NOPE!!! In mid-75 the CV-joints [and flanges] changed from four M10 Allen bolts to six M8 Allen bolts!
