Strut spacers?

I started to lower the front end of my 82 SC this morning. I first pulled the nuts off the top mount to remove the spacers that were on the US cars from 74 - 82. I used the Porsche "Parts and Technical Reference Catalog" for a visual reference. I was expecting a little cylindrical bushing type of item on top of the struts.

What I found were some large flat washers, about .40" thick, on top of the struts. Are these the spacers I'm looking to remove?

Yes, those are the spacers. I just did mine this past weekend.
