relocating harness attachment points on my targa
Any where else I can attach my harnesses on my targa other than the rear seatbelt points?
I do'nt mind doing a little fab, but can I attach to the rear deck with some reinforcement? Adam

I personally think you're asking for trouble. I don't know how thick/strong that deck area is...even if you use backing plates. It's one thing to be constrained by the belts...it's another to survive a high-g crash. Real race cars can use some part of the cage structure, but I would be leery of sheet metal.
What's wrong with using the rear seat belt points? You can use "snap-in" mounts on o-ring bolts. ---Wil Ferch

Well, the rear shoulder belts in my targa attach to the rear deck. Maybe the spot to connect them is already built into your year as is the case with the front b-pillar mounts for the shoulder belt on the early cars

It's really silly actually, I didn't think about my 5pt harness when I installed the stereo system and the box interferes with the inner mounting points, I'll have to get creative, I'll look in to having maybe a crossbar welded im maybe. Keep the suggestions comming
