911s are the worst cars ever built... Well that's just crazy the hardest cars ever to work on... Mine is probably one of the easiest cars to work on of any '88, and is bested only by my old '65 impala. horrid money pits... Well, I suppose they could be but mine hasn't been. Every 30 minute job takes three hours and at least $300 more than you exected. Well, nothing is cheap on a Porsche, but I generally get things done faster than I expected.

damn, that is an ugly front spoiler, you need a black splitter and some holes.....
the best reason to own a 911 is because you can, and few do. Jim

I own a 911 because it is simply a work of art. Some get it, some don't.

Here is something I hear from many Porsche owners including myself...
After you've driven a Porsche, all other cars feel unsafe and out of control.

Why do I own a 911? ... for the same reasons I own a Jack Russel Terrier it's fast, low to ground, can turn on a dime, accelerates in heartbeat and it's "one of kind". Oh and just like the JRT the 911 likes to be taken out to play.....

I like dropping the top, letting the california sun gently kiss my face, as a 6 cylinder 200 HP Porsche engine chases me - growling the entire way!

The best reason I can think of for owning a 911 is taking the long way home. Also, opening the garage and being happy everytime and having the top off in the summer and hitting 80 mph with the sun and wind hitting your face. And being able to get out of the way of a motorhome moving across 4 lanes and still have more power to go. So many reasons, so little time.

I own a 911 because it is the best looking car on the road. Everytime I walk away from it I have to take a second look at it.
I also love the car becuase there are unlimited mods that can be done.

It's one of the few cars in this world that there's no reason to own?
I own one beause no other car I've ever driven has been able to put that crazy look on my face like this one. I own one because every one of them is a different car and each one has something that I love about it. I have owned seven of them and if I could afford it I would own 70 of them. I don't know, I'm sort of sick that way. David Duffield |

because wrenching on a 911 is a stress reliever and wrenching on anything else is a stress inducer.
