RoninLB...I WON!!

Mr. RoninLB,

A couple of months ago you asked the board to review and vote on the stories found at the Porsche site.

I just want to thank you and invite you for many, many beers during your next big drive!

You see, having never won anything of any value in my life, I was suprised to say the least, when UPS showed up at my house today with an envelope from Porsche Cars of NA. I was one of five winners of a 'No Catch $100 Gift Certificate' to purchase items from the new Selection Catalog. No matching purchase or additional purchases necessary.

Thank you very much for the heads-up on voting!! :

(edited for grammar...I'm excited!!)

Great...
- and thanks for the hospitality.
I just checked the site and I'm still highest rated, I think.
I haven't heard anything on the supreme winner yet ?
It's nice to see a pelicanhead win $100

Ron's entry definitely created some unique problems for them, didn't it?

absolutely !

so I might as well say it now.. if I win the "40th" contest,

the winner gets 2 tickets to the award cermony, and
I need one ticket, and
the other ticket should be raffled off to anyone who replied to
"BigBig Ride/Local knowledge?", "BigBig Ride/ it's over", and the 40th contest thread..

as long as they may be confused over a pelicanhead winning..

might as well have two pelicanhead winners ?

As I recall, the latest issue of Christophorous (spelling?) had the winners in it. I'll have to try to find that issue and see what exactly it was. -- Curt

"Best Story" - Dieter Weiss, 278 points, "The Adrenalin Rush"

His story is like 1 paragraph long. Sounds OK, but more like a poem than a real story .....

It says all the winners and stories can be viewed at www.porsche.com

What a load of BULL DUNG! We stuffed their ballot box fair and square! Another negative for Porsche North America and their lap puppies in PCA! GRRRRRR!
