Question 83 SC 3.0 CIS to webers

If I strip off the cis on this engine and put my 40IDA webers on, is there anything I need to do to the stock distributor??? And why are there 2 vacum lines instead of one going to this distributor?? My brain does not operate with CIS yet!

One is vacuum before throttle, the other is vacuum after throttle. Why it's like this, i still don't know.

I believe you need to have the distributor recurved to work with the carbs else replace it with a 78/79 distributor.

Why are you converting to carbs?
