More sport muffler sound files...
As promised, here are some clips of my new high compression 2.4 with sport muffler. All shifts are at 5k rpm, as I'm trying to respect popular wisdom and not redline the engine for about 1k miles. That's our own "l33t9eek" recording the the engine from inside and outside the car on my laptop.

Matt,
It's just a factory sport muffler.

Would that be the same as a banana with the guts partially removed, and dual outs added? I'm planning to do this with an extra muffler, as per a recent thread, please tell me mine's going to sound that nice?

Yep that's exactly it. It should sound that good. I really want one for myself too.

Matt - yes indeed. Hunt around on Pelican and there are diagrams of where to make the cuts. Once the muffler is open you can see the baffling and where to open them up; the exact nature of the baffle cuts I'm not sure about.
The sound is excellent and agressive at WOT and on-cam, but at low/mid load and cruising speeds the sound is just good background noise. Very versatile and easy to live with. I'll be back in a thousand miles with a redline file...
