...another what's it worth question ( 930 )

1986 930 Turbo. mileage stated as 28,000

known problems. clutch, a/c is apart and in a box and something about the rear quarters needing some paint work. I will be looking at the car next week.

Let me know if you want an extra pair of eyes to look at it.

With only 28,000 miles I'd expect the car to be pretty clean (a babied garage queen). A car with issues, and only 28K, could mean problems.

My '86 930, in excellent condition but with 119,000 miles was sold to me for $22,000 about two years ago. It was worth more (maybe $25,000) but the PO is a close family friend. It had a new clutch, and cold A/C.

A 930 needing a clutch, and A/C, is on the block with two strikes in my book. Body damage wouldn't make me feel any better. The low miles would mean nothing unless the rest of the car was mint (unlikely).

My wild guess would be $17,000 - $20,000.

Needing new clutch, no air, body work =$17-18K.
Look close!!!!!!
Sounds like it could be a good project car.
