Ordered My Recaro's-when will I learn?

I ordered a set of new Speeds for the second time this past weekend. The first order was placed the previous weekend. After much searching on the net, I found what looked like a legitimate place in AZ that was about $60 cheaper for the set. Well, once my order was placed, I couldn't get them to call me back for a week, and when I did get them Friday. I was told they were getting around to processing the order with Recaro. I cancelled it.

Well, I placed my new order with Speedware this past Saturday via their website, and got an email from Shaun there saying they are shipping today! These guys seem to have a good reputation on this board, so it goes to show you "stay with what/who you know".

By the way, I got my new Anatomico shift know from Pelican today, and Bob @ Appbiz should be finishing my carpet set this week. Once I get the DasSport rollbar and harnesses ordered, I'll have gotten the interior part done. Next?....

what are you using for seat brackets? I'm pondering some speeds myself...

Ed--I know I've told you this before. No posting without pics of your beautiful targa.

Jon-thanks for the kind words! I actually need to get her out for a shoot after the interior is done.

nostatic-I'm kind of up in the air on the brackets. I've got non-power seats now. There are a bunch of posts that say the Recaros will work with the stock sliders. I thought I'd save some money and try this rout first.

Ok Ed--I'll cut you a little slack this time. I have Recaro SRD's in my car and the Speed's look like their replacement and yes they work with the stock sliders--mine did anyway. It was only a 30 min job they bolt right up. Hope yours goes as well. One recommendation is to have a small low profile (metric of course) ratchet set to take out your seats since the bolts are a little hard to reach. Some guys have replaced the bolts with hex bolts to even make the swap quicker and easier.

I will concur. I bought my SRD's from Speedware and they bolted right up. Good service from Speedware and very good seats.

looks like about $90 per bracket. If it bolts to the stock one, that is a decent place to save a few bucks. If you get the other brackets though, can the seats then just slide/swap out, or do you still have to remove bolts?

Hmmm... I thought The Racers Group was cheaper.
I just ordered a Pole Position and they were the cheapest around.
