GruppeB or not to be...that is the question?
I am watching the traffic on the electronic highway we call the internet, and many of you claim to be members of GruppeB as you list your affiliation within your signature block.
The winter months has caused many of you to go into hibernation, well the time has come to awake and continue to be the Bastards you sworn to be!:D The SCWDP is losing members fast as they look forward at the 993 market, and the RGruppe is stuck with their heads in the clouds (Ha Ha...don't get mad) while we Bastards continue to spread and make the beasts that are known as GruppeB! I call on you to post here and on the castle grounds www.gruppeb.org as I will be departing soon to fight another battle, but when I return I expect to see the GruppeB members gathered by the masses to enjoy what makes us all come together....the cars, the friendship, and the ability to kick a$$ on the streets and tracks around the world! Ok, nuff said.SmileWavy |

"077" Bastard checking in and waiting for orders ;)
|
well here is the story...
I am going to Iraq for the summer as I hear the weather is great and the sand is awesome. The travel brochure looks outstanding and I just can't wait for this summer vacation. |
We are lying in wait in anticipation of the Spring. Agent K9 of the GruppeB Euro Division has been deployed by high command to The Middle East Region to begin negotiations for a smooth transition to a GruppeB interim Government.
God Speed Agent Smith! |
Hey Smitty my wife said she'd send you a couple boxes of our daughter's Girl Scout cookies if you get us an address when you're out there!
I have at least one or two bastard posts recently, but not as much as I should. I'll work on that. As far as your Yahoo thread. I'm watching it and killing SPAM, but it's slow too... |
I would post freely at GruppeB But I am at work and I dont want to get caught staring at "the amazing hypno-butt" avatar...
|
Make sure to pass along your "Sand Front" address, so those of us that want to can send you some goodies while you're on vacation.
|
Well, as one who gave up the Carrera for a 993, I'll still be happy to send you porn, Pez and Pabst from home, if you post an address.
|
Ha Ha Shawn...that is so true about that avatar.
Thanks all, I will make an effort to get my deployed address out as I am not sure of the ability to post here (or anywhere for that matter) and an email address when I get it. Sir John...I will not be too aggressive with the negotiations as we all should use Mobile 1 synthetic oil, the dino stuff is not so important. Ha Ha |
What must one do to become a member of this GruppeB clan?
|
What ever happened to the East Coast Chapter?
|
What is group"B"? Being a member of the "A" team, I always wondered about these classifications. Is it like the "B" movies out of Hollywood? Somewhat lower standards? On a re-build, someone suggested to grind the cams to a B-group on my 3-liter but I never understood what that meant. Is a B-group grind the same as 964 cams? Or what? Help.

H.D., best wishes on your Iraq vacation. If you want, we'll send you the good beer that we don't let Richard Leschander drink. :D |

LOL! Gunter...thanks for the grins.
Smitty, again good luck to you brother. Find us a good site for the Mideast Castle... |
...You guys don't even have a presentable sticker.
Please... |
Smitty, I'll be crossing my fingers that you have a very uneventful summer vacation.
Post an address, and we'll send you swag. And Leland's right, Gruppe B does need a new sticker design. ;) |
Hey! Just because our sticker doens't have the bling factor..don't mean it ain't good!
|
I've always felt a lose connection to you
GroupeB guys. Most of you will grow up to be full blown "HP Junkies" at some point. As for SCWDP and RGruppe, the "light weights" need to belong to something! Go do what you do on your vacation, we got ya covered on this end!!! |
whats wrong with our sticker?
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1076699263.jpg our sticker rocks! |
I suspect Leland really has a 993 tiptronic cab with cupholder and mahogany console he won't tell us about.
|
I am sure he does...and he might still have a Z tucked away in a garage just in case! Ha Ha
This thread was just to stir the pot a bit, it's been very quiet among the groups and a little trash talk always makes for a good laugh around here. BTW...I am having SC flares put on the car while I am gone...just don't confuse my bastard with an SC. |
even with the flares I don't think anyone would confuse your car with an SC.
I can hear the conversation on the sidewalk "hey...isn't that an sc?"...."no...It's going too fast" |
gruppe 8 ?!?
I ordered up a Recaro for the front, and am pondering an underbelly cooler and C2 decklid. Continue to tweak the uper-SC. 99-who? unless I hit the lotto... |
static: you are sooooo headed for Gruppe B knighthood...resistance if futile!
|
Yeah I kinda like our stickers, but I can always have some made with that extra B factor if needed.:D

Actually, I think you misunderstood. What they really said was "no, it's too ugly". ;) Dan :) |

Regarding our stickers. They are made of lightweight based space age composite materials similar to that of the shuttles protective thermal tiles. We do not simply arm our Army of B@ST@RDS with pitifull little sticky back plastic bannana goodtime rock-n-roll decals as some other "groups" do.
Everything related to GruppeB has purpose and function. Not just show and blow. (notice the slight tone of antagonism as to draw the enemy out of their foxholes) |

Rule number one with Gruppe B. THERE ARE NO RULES. A bastard is a bastard is a bastard. Those of you who belong to a so called brother hood worry more about what the other members think than what you really want. Our founders lead by example. They do what ever they want so we do too. We don't worry about being pretty or how much $ we dump into our machines, we just do what we want and are accepted for the differances. The SC'ers all Look alike except for color. If you want to be what someone else says that you should be stay where you are. If you want to be what you want come join the forces of the bastards. We are the true Americans, we all look different with different ideas, unlike others that all look alike and follow a part time leader who crawls in a hole and hides only to reappear later.
Hey Smitty isn't this why you are going to the Mid East to correct? If so, then from the mouth of Rossana Dana Dana said, "Never Mind"! Tom |
Any year of bastardized 911?
|
Well said Rouxzy!!
SRISER- All years are welcome...(heck, I even have a 951 and they still let me play in the sandbox). We really like it when we get defectors!!:D |

Gruppe B will always be the bastard locked in the garage, while the SCWDP march on as Kingshttp://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/king.gif MUHAHAHAHA |
Par911...I bet my bastard see more road time then the entire east coast SCWDP cars as a whole and I ain't afraid of no SC, bring it on!
Ha Ha...I am sounding like Eric after he passed trash talkin 101:D |
Brothers... unite. I KNOW my sticker has created such and aerodynamic advantage, that I had to detune my engine (with special chip from Steve) in order to keep it on the road... Unreal!!!http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...s/beerchug.gif
