Lost my low beam

Had the car washed yesterday. When I switched on the light, the right headlight wouldn't come on. Today I tried running it on high beam. There was suddenly a nasty burned / electrical smell in the cabin. Now I'm stuck in high, cannot switch to low.
Shall I sell?

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. Is it actually dangerous to drive with high beam until I get the problem fixed (dangerous for my lights, that is)? Also, how can I find out what light setup I have? Perhaps this is a good time to switch to H4?
Looks like a trip to Tinsdale is in order. Kevin??

The turn signal stalk on the steering shaft was my problem when this happened.

I'm pretty sure that's mine too, as I can no longer shift from high to low (i.e. I can shift but nothing happens).

yup i only had lows, and i could get the highs. it took me about 2 hours to fix it. and i order the marcus sucros relays right away. and that took about 10 minutes to install. i am going to get rid of my yellow hue stock headlights soon. you can probably drive your car, but you will annoy the other drivers. the damage to the switch is done, on mine i dont think i could have done anymore damage.

cliff

you "had" your car washed? wow! i dont trust anyone to not blast water into my subpar window seals.
