A customer has an all original 1975 Carrera - these did use the aluminum front caliper, correct? AKA they were the same brakes as the S cars of this period?

I think they should be the aluminum "S" calipers, but my "S" came with "M" steel calipers. I have an early '75 though, so I think Porsche was using up the old calpers from '74 for my car.

Yes & No, The '74 &'75 Carreras used the aluminum S frot caliper, but the S models for Gseies('74) and H series('75) used the smalkl M calipers in the front.
Starting w/ the '76 I series even the Carreras had iron front calipers, albeit the larger A
