texas......the only state where you could rake snow
![]() call your local road department, they'll be able to tell you if they salted and probably where if you're way rural.

I wouldn't drive mine out there, but I saw a nice 928 pulling out of Zim's this morning as I was going in to pick up some brake pads. This was when there was still a fair amount of slush on the road.

I wish we had weather here. Anything... as our mild winter is getting pretty boring.

Forget about the salt for a second. Are you guys used to driving in that weather there?
If it snowed like that in Baton Rouge, I would leave the car at home. People here wouldnt have a clue what to do if there was ice on the road. They would lose their minds. I wouldnt want my car out there with a bunch of people who didnt know how to drive on ice even the roads were not salted or covered in gravel. |

You guys don't call that a storm, I hope!
Now, January 1977 & 1979 ... those were storms!!! No ... Dallas spreads SAND on the bridges & overpasses!

I drive mine daily, but I know that any day a group of Porschephiles are going to show up at my house and beat me for driving my non-galvanized car in the winter. Of course, I'm not driving it anywhere right now because it has a gas leak, but that's a different story.

Weather can be challenging in S.E. PA but the Porsche handles well. My concern is with the other guy on the road.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/icons/icon11.gif

That has been a familiar sight this winter. I just finished a stereo modification new 6x9's in the back and a new power plate, inconspicuous as possible, Alpine and Infinity. Something fun to do whilst it snows.
