Ride Height
In an 88 coupe that is predominately (not soley) used on the track, what are you using for a front and rear ride height. Did you need a bump steer kit with your height adjustment? Thanks for whatever insight you can provide.

scooter, just go to the bottom of the main technical forum page and search ride height. You will find a tons of info. My 87 is 25.5" front 24.5 rear. with bump steer kit.

Ride Height
I did a search on the many ride height postings but still have one question. Measuring from highest part of the fender arch my car is currently at 24 1/4 F and 24 1/4 R. Using the rule of Front being 1/2 to 3/4 higher than the Rear I should raise my Front to 24 3/4 to 25 (of course many of you have 1" difference F to R).
BUT, is this rule true for widebody cars? Can anyone confirm this? Don't know if the widebody and the narrow body cars have the same fender arc. I put in HD front/Sport rear Bilsteins, lowered and corner balanced the car. Handles like a dream, but the front really takes a pounding when I hit any bump in the road. Moving the front up a bit can only help. Thanks Brad |
