Informed Lurker (buzzard?)

Hello to GREAT forum,

I purchased my first p-car around Thanksgiving '03 and love it!

You can only go so long without that car you've always wanted.
There will be no regrets in the nursing home from me .

It was imported to the Atlanta area from Santa Clara, CA after an on-line sale.

This is my '76 911S with the "you're gonna learn a few things about a flat six" 2.7.

With help from this board I've installed SSI's, Dansk 2 in 1 out and
Magnacors. I guess the next project will be the cam line oil restrictors... [img]

Man, I hope this works... THANKS to all!!

White coupe is classic 911, very nice. And no tail, even better.

My $0.02 middleyear 2.7 -- Start thinking about oil cooling before the summer months hit! Trust me when I say that you will enjoy your car a whole lot more without having to worry about the oil temps.

Thanks for the kind words.
143,xxx miles, w/ rebuild at approx 70,000 by Modderman. (opinons?)
Has the usual mods.
Would be interested in a purely Gruppe B oil cooler mod.
Stock config and cost is not as important as cool oil.
Any Gruppe B numbers left?

Welcome and nice looking 911.
Now what's up with all that space between the houses? You need a few million more peoples back in Alanta so you won't have so much grass to mow.

Glad to see you are out and posting. I'm down with the "B" gruppe oil cooler mod. Let's think up a Good-N.

if it's the stock dizzy curve that came with Thermal Reactors you should disconnect dizzy vac retard hose permanently.. and set max timing around 35deg,
Ronin: Why-for?

BTW: I have a '76 (w / air pump now disconnected). Replaced dizzy 3 years ago with Bosch unit (have to check #). Set to OEM specs re: vac line, 6K rpm, etc...

TIA

Nice car Toe, I take it you didn't have any problems with the exhaust studs when you installed the SSIs. Please contribute to this thread,
How much did you buy or sell your 911 for?
Looks like you live in a nice Nieghborhood. enjoy & welcome to the board.
