Just ingnore the fact that it is an '80 with 3.0.

I bet it's hard to see out the windshield with that bright green dash board reflecting on it. Whats with those pod things on the door too?

I know next to nothing about superchargers, but it looks a bit odd to me that the supercharger belt runs across the air conditioning compressor. If it weren't for that I'd be all over this rolling snot ball!

those pod things aren't too bad, pretty cool way to improve the sound system.

strange but I kinda like the car.

That green would look great on an early S or RS look car.

At least it's supercharged so there's some go to go with the ?show?. So often these creations are running stock old "T" motors which would be ok before they add weight from all of the aftermarket body, wheels, stereo and speakers, etc....

Oh, and the big belt is running the supercharger and A/C off of the crank. It must be a relatively low boost setup since it's able to run off of a V-belt rather than a cogged belt.

Wow, I could probably bring myself to drive that. The paint isn't bad, but I'd probably want something a tad more subdued. I think I'd get into lots of trouble if I had it.

HONESTLY, put some 17" Kinesis K58Rs with black centers on there and some '94 Speedster seats and I'd roll that car. After all, some people build serious track machines and others build boulevard cruisers, this one's a nice cruiser (especially with that blower). Everything's done cleanly, interior looks very nice IMHO (neon dash might be a bit much, but whatever), bodywork seems sound and he did an awesome job tinting the targa glass.

EDIT: Speaking of ebay cars, if I had the money I'd pick up this beautiful arena red 993 Turbo S

"with 4 wheel disc brakes."

I better bid--I hear that's a pretty rare option on these things.

eBay ad descriptions are a chuckle. Often one finds a 2-door 911; "V6" powerplant, sometimes a 2002 996 proudly proclaimed as 'one owner'; a completely destroyed car as an 'easy fixer'...

there's an sc cab in brown on ebay now that makes NO MENTION of the fact that it's completely whacked in the pass. rear quarter, and that the car is bent. You can see it in the pic, but the guy goes on about what an honest seller he is and that the car has had a recent tuneup.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2461937625&category=10156

pics go mint, mint, mint, mint, WHACKED. oops...

Picture that frog-barf green slantnose with a glossy black paint job (including the dash!) and perhaps the bugeye fenders restored. Would be a pretty sweet ride then!

And don't knock Cromodora wheels...they made the stock wheels for Alfa Romeo and Ferrari for years. For aftermarket they are pretty decent.

Frog Barf Green? Too funny and very accurate description of the color.

Looks like Grabber Green to me- Mopar Sublime is a little lighter... Maybe Big Bad Green from AMC...

No short hood 911 (except maybe a '74ish Carrera) should wear that color...

It would make a sick RS color, though. It would look period correct.

Actually I don't think the color is that bad. It would probably look cool on a IROC body, but with a Targa/Slantnose with a giant wing, it looks pretty rice.
