Big Thanks To Ingo & Mike

Well its 11:30pm and my STAY PUFF will be at the track tomorrow.

I had her all loaded up and ready to roll. Went to start her up to move her at of the garage and she wouldnt start! No electrical. Pulled at my tester to check the batteries and they were both dead. So I think throw the charger on them and I will be good to go in the morning. Go inside to help the kids into bed and go out to the garage about 30 min later to find SMOKE pouring out of the engine bay. Pop the lid and the smoke is coming from the alternator area. Disconnect the charger and say S**T! No I honestly said S**T! Called Mike Z for some advise and even though he wasnt sure how it happened we both figured the alternator was toast along with the batteries. Mike said he had an alternator on his 2.4 motor at Ingo's house and I was welcome to it.

Called Ingo and he pulled the alternator while I ran down to pick up some new bats. Lucky for me Kragen was open late. Ingo gets the alternator out to my house and promply gets to work getting the fried unit out and the good one in.

So shes all buttoned up and working like she was ment to. Ingo and I did check the wiring loom and such and no damage was found.
So Im off to the track.
