The power bleeder has got to be one of, if the not the best tool in my garage. I actually bleed the brakes in all my vehicles every two years (except the kart that gets bleed for every event). My wife's a lot happer now too.

"My wife's a lot happer now too."
125shifter, Is that one of those double entendres? Not sure I get the connection otherwise. Oh well. I should weigh in here on gravity bleeding, but I'll wait for a more opportune time. In response to the question about mixing a low-spec DOT 3 with the ATE, try not to as it will compromise the high heat specs. But it also depends on the type of driving conditions you're going to encounter. Sherwood |
Opps, I meant the wife's "happier". I thought I'd leave the reason open for interpretation, just to keep things interesting.

As a long time two-person bleeder(or gravity in desperation), I purchase the Motive to bleed my clutch yesterday.......Oh my God! Could it be any easier? The one of the best $45 I've spent on a tool in recent memory. Actually makes it fun(no more exasperation with my wife, "is the brake pedal down.....(her: no I let it up...) @#****ing bleeder screw was open! OK try again........ Did the brakes and clutch in 15 minutes with ATE blue. Wow...
