Very cool Video Jack.
As one that does film too, I was wondering how you mounted the camera? Bumper or frame ?

I dont mean to highjack this thread, but Hi Jack, thats a way cool video. If you dont mind me asking what type of camera do you use? Does it just plug into a camcorder mounted inside the car?

Sorry I did not mean to do any highjacking either, but the broom and duct tape works.
seems steady enough I might give it a try later. I am in the process of making a good camera boom that I won't take out cars people and other objects. Thank you.

It's just an inexpensive lipstick camera that plugs into a digital camcorder inside the car.
Here are a few of pictures for Andy, to keep it on topic: ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jase007,
The last picture that you posted of the yellow car, who is that and what is the motor/ exhaust config. I will never forget that car from the Summit Point club race last fall. It has a high-pitched exhaust note that I have never heard before in a Porsche. Thanks,

Wal Jarvis has the yellow car. I took the picture at this years Sebring PCA club race. Auto Associates out of Canton, CT supports the car (Jim Newton -owner of Auto Assoc.- also has a beautiful RS/ RSR)
Here is a link (picture is big) of Newton's car at the Glen. "I think" the headers are similar to ones we run. 3-1 each side then 2 collectors to 1 pointed down (almost looks like a turbo outlet). Similar to the IROC on the left in picture: ![]() Creates a high pitched "ripping" noise. Not like the low standard 3-1 headers into megaphones (like the 68 2.oL on right in picture). Several of the 3.0L - 3.4L cars run the 6-1. Jason |

Slightly off-topic: Where could a person find those round side mirrors?

bob, is that your car? if it is you are surely one of the luckiest guys i know! Jack, that was a nice straightforward way of losing the spacers!
sounds like it really sorted out the front though
