speedometer part number?
Hi:
is there a part number for the speedometers and if so where is it located.... thanks gary |
Gary,
Yes, there is a full 11-digit Porsche part number ... very tiny ... up at the top under the 'shadow' of the bezel, at the edge of the gauge face plate. |

Another hint is If you look at the first three digits of that #
it will start with a 914= from a 914 901= early 911, 911=later 911'71 ish on up. there is usually a date code on the back as well 9/69 for example. But I have seen some without this date code, could be a replacement? |
