rear seat belt attach points

I need to attach rear seat belts in the new/old (1974) 911. I has been re-upholstered at some point without belts. Does anyone have pictures of where these should attack so I don't have to randomly rip up seat material?
Thanks

If my 85 is anything like your 74...you should be able to see/feel the inboard points as you hug around the transmission...and look/feel the tunnel nearby. This assumes, of course, the car is in 4 jackstands, and properly secured. Be careful under there!

I don't have any carpet, but here's a shot of the pass. side seatwell. The bolt hole is in the recessed area there. You can just see the other bolt hole on the tunnel too.

This is the other seatwell. The bolt hole you see there is the one on the tunnel.

Us old timers always say, do a seach for rear seat belts.

That said, here's a shot of my rear belts. You will notice both stock lap belts and the shoulder portion my my Stroth Harness attached to the same point.

Thanks for the pictures, guys, just what I needed.
Old timer, 305 hits for "rear seat belt", none with pictures and almost all on completely different topics. Zero for "rear seat belt pictures".
Also, the parts diagram on Pelican has no link for seatbelts.
It's not like I was asking how to drop the engine or if you can pick up chicks in a 911....

Cary,

You are correct, they are fine thread. If you are buying new hardware, you should buy 8.8 bolts.

Will we be seeing in at one the Portland AutoX's? Am I sending you reminders to make you feel guilty?

I just tried a search using {"seat belt install" rear} and had 41 hits. Several had pictures.

Harry,

Hopefully we'll be able to make a couple. My 16 year old is starting in SCCA, so we'll be pretty busy this summer. Looks like about every third weekend all summer.

7/16-20 UNF pitch....NOT the very similar-looking 11 mm......
