Got 3 out of the 6 adds here.

I suspect most of our cars cost a good deal less than $15K so it is easy to see why you can feel good about dumping money into them ;)

8% of people have replaced the engine ...

Who was it who had that sig about the fine line between a hobby and mental illness? :-)

Replaced and rebuilt adds up doesn't it? But then the majority of these cars are over 20 years old.

SilverPoly 03-08-2004 10:28 AM

Got about 5.

Thanks rdane, that was fun.

What about us early car guys don't we count?

Tim Walsh 03-08-2004 11:01 AM

and those of us who paid less than 7K for our cars?

Tim Walsh 03-08-2004 12:52 PM

well I was on the opposite end of the spectrum.. paid well under 7 for a complete, non running and mostly rust free car (has a few spots but not bad at all) and I"ve spent several times the price of the car to get it running well.

RickM 03-08-2004 01:41 PM

I paid more than 20k for my '85 in '87....

Scooter 03-08-2004 03:32 PM

Don't remind me how much I paid.

rzepko6194 03-08-2004 03:44 PM

Where's the $20K+ checkbox?

thabaer 03-08-2004 03:54 PM

No check box for replacing noisy SC tensioners ?

markwemple 03-08-2004 04:24 PM
