Need (P201) engine adapter dimensions..please

I need dimension 'a' in the section diagram below. Dimensions 'b' and 'c' wouldn't hurt either. Also, what is the diameter of the curved tube steel?

Get one in hand and you'll see it would be lot of work to duplicate. Even with free material and a machine shop at your disposal you would have a hard time justifying it. I encourage you to look at one in person so you'll know what you are up against at least.

No worries, not trying to duplicate it.

Dimension please...anyone?

a = 4 3/4"
b = 1 1/2"
c = 6 1/4"
diameter = 2.35" (59.8mm)

In case it will help, the distance from the engine mounting surface to the inside of the yoke is 6"

Thanks for taking the time to help me out, Chris!

So, dimension 'a' is only 4-3/4"...huh. I would've guessed from the pic it would be greater.

That would make the thickness of the semi-circular adapter ring itself 1-1/4" thick (based on the 6" dimension you gave). Wow.

Oh, when I mentioned the "diameter of the curved steel tubes", I meant the curved ones, not the straight tube that connects to the jack stand. I should have labeled that better.

I've updated my drawing.

Sorry, I didn't read closely enough the first time. Yes, the adapter ring is 1 1/4" thick. Hold on sec, I'll go out to the garage and measure...
OK, the curves pipes are .95"/24.1mm in diameter.

Great! Thanks again for the info.

I'll update when I actually put the info to use. Geez, I was supposed to be done with this project back in Dec. '03, but have been sidetracked by an ongoing illness.

EDIT:

I posted an U P D A T E to this thread here:
